Joshua Carter Jackson is an actor in Amercian television and movies. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on June 11, 1978. He currently divides his time between North Carolina (where his television program Dawsons Creek is filmed) and Vancouver.
Jackson grew up in California until age 8, when his family moved back to Vancouver. Soon after he took up acting, landing a role in a commercial for Keebler's Potato Chips. He is left handed and 6 feet, 2 inches tall.
He is most known for his role on Dawsons Creek, but he has also appeared in several popular movies,
including Cruel Intentions, Apt Pupil, and Scream 2.
