Ghazzeh (Arabic: غزة) is a Popular City located in the Western Beta District of the Beqaa Governorate in Lebanon. estimated of 70,000 citizens 22,000 syrian refugees. It is known for its highly immigrated people to South American Nations.
History
[edit]In 1838, Eli Smith noted it as 'Azzeh (mistaking Arabic غ gh for ع ʿ) under "Places on the West side of the Bŭkâ'a, from the southern extremity northward to Zahleh"; it is listed before Bab Mareaa.[1]
The Medium-Sized Town has 70% of its citizens immigrated into South American Countries Such as Venezuela , Brazil as a result of the deadly 1982 Israeli Invasion of Southern Lebanon. While israel failed to occupy the town because of the strong resistance.
