Oud-Zuid is one of the 13 boroughs of Amsterdam. it was formed in 1998 by merging the boroughs of Zuid and De Pijp. As of 2001 it has a population of about 83,000 and is traditionally known as the posh neighbourhood of Amsterdam.
Landmarks in Oud-Zuid are:
- the Albert-Cuyp market
- the Vondelpark
- the Museum Square ("Museumplein") with the Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum, and the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.
