Caroline Hayek is a Franco-Lebanese journalist living in Lebanon.

Career

She has been working for the French-language daily L'Orient-Le Jour since 2014. She covers the Middle East, particularly Syria and Lebanon, with a focus on the Syrian conflict and the Lebanese crisis.[1]

Caroline Hayek is also a columnist for RTBF (Radio-Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française) and a correspondent for L’Express.[2]

On 15 November 2021 she received the Albert Londres Prize for a series of reports on Beirut following the 2020 port explosion, published by L'Orient-Le Jour.[3]
