Colby Parker Jr. is an American film editor,[1][2][3][4] actor and member of ACE, best known for his editing credits for Ant-Man (2015). [5][6]

Colby Parker Jr. was born on September 20th. He earned his BFA in 1994 from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz. [citation needed]

Career

Parker began his career in the mid-1990s, initially as an editor of music videos for notable artists including the Beastie Boys, Missy Elliott, Pharrell Williams,[7] Mobb Deep, Fabolous, Pavement, Green Day,[8] and Maroon 5. [citation needed] Parker’s entry in the film industry came through his collaboration with director Pete Berg. Their partnership began with the 2003 film The Rundown leading to their second project Friday Night Lights (2004) together.[9] This collaboration led to creation of over 10 films and television pilots.[1][10] Parker's filmography includes critically acclaimed titles such as Lone Survivor (2013),[2][10][11] Ant-Man (2015),[12][13] Deepwater Horizon (2016), Patriots Day (2016),[14] and Gran Turismo (2023). [1][5][15][6][16][17][18][19][20] He also co-hosts a podcast titled The Flavor Bin with Bill “Billions” McMullen where he discusses films and cultural topics. [20]

Colby Parker Jr. is a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE). He was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award along Dan Lebanthal for Best Editing of a Comedy or Musical for their work on Ant-Man.
