Summary

Description
English: IDF Caterpillar D9 "Doobi" armored bulldozer. The IDF uses the armored version of Caterpillar D9 tracked-type tractor bulldozer for combat engineering and counter-terrorism operations. The Israeli armor kit proved itself very effective against terrorist weapons, a specially against large "belly charge" IEDs and roadside bombs. Military experts cite the IDF D9 as a key factor in keeping IDF casualties low in the ongoing war against Palestinian terrorism.
עברית: דחפור משוריין די-9 "דובי" של צה"ל צה"ל משתמש בגרסה המשוריינת של טרקטור זחלי מדגם קטרפילר די-9 למשימות הנדסה קרבית ולוחמה בטרור. ערכת המיגון הישראלי הוכיחה את עצמה כיעילה מאוד נגד אמצעי הלחימה של המחבלים, במיוחד נגד מטעני גחון רבי עוצמה ומטעני צד. מומחים צבאיים מציינים שדחפור הדי-9 המשוריין הוא אחד הגורמים המרכזיים בהקטנת מספר האבדות של צה"ל במלחמה המתמשכת נגד הטרור הפלסטיני.
