Description
English: Two pages of the collected poems of KI TURAYUKI(ca. ACE868- ACE945), 2nd volume. 20cm height, 32cm wide. Gold, Silver and ink on ornamented crafted paper. One of the Collection of the works of thirty six master poets in the NISHI-HONGANJI, Kyoto. Most luxurious illuminated manuscript books survived from ancient Japan. In 1925, dismantled to each page and sold to collectors.
