Summary

Description
English: Illustration shows two non-adaptive modifiers of the immune response to gluten. The innate peptide show stimulates monocytes and promotes production of IL15, even in healthy individuals. The CXCR3 sites appear to facilitate the opening up of tight junctions, allowing gluten peptides into the lamina propria.
