Summary

Description
English: Illustration of Arthur Fulton being "chaired" from the range after winning the King's Prize.

His father George Fulton had previously won the Prize in 1888 (when it was known as the Queen's Prize). Arthur would go on to win the King's Prize again in 1926 and 1931. His three-win record would not be matched until 1996. Arthur's son Robin would win in 1958, setting a unique record of a family having three generations of winners.

Illustration was originally published in "The Ashbourne Telegraph" newspaper on 26 July 1912. Artist unknown.
