Description
English: The Calico Museum of Textiles, as it appeared in its original location at the Calico Mills. Founded in 1949 by Gira and Gautam Sarabhai, it was moved in 1983 to its present location at "The Retreat", the Sarabhai family compound. Photo from "The Handbook of India", 1952 Edition.
