Summary

Description Caloplaca luteoalba (Turner) Th. Fr., 1860 (photograph of a herbarium specimen taken through a dissecting microscope (x6) showing thallus and orange apothecia) This specimen was in Dr. Elmer G. Worthley's personal lichen herbarium and the label on the packet reads as follows: "Lichenes suecici/ Caloplaca luteoalba (Turn.) Närke/ Par. Ringkarleby: Asplunda/ VI_VIII 1899/ leg. G. A. Ringselle" / (No. L-541, 1899); specimen is now in the Lichen Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden.
