Summary

Description
English: Collagen VII consists of a collagenous domain flanked by two non-collagenous domains, NC-1 and NC-2. NC-1 is composed of several subdomains, including a central matrix protein-like subdomain (CMP), nine fibronectin III-like subdomains, and a Von-Willebrand Factor A-like subdomain (VWF-A). NC-2 has one notable subdomain, which is analogous to a Kunitz protease inhibitor molecule (KM). NC-1 extends from exon 1-28, and NC-2 from exon 112-118, with EX representing exon.
