English: Vertical cut of a severe thunderstorm at the top with the Vertically Integrated Reflectivity (VIL) at the bottom. The cut is done at showing the amount of rain in the 2156 UTC on August 13, 1996 through the cell with red-purple colors showing 63 kg/m2 of water content which is equivalent to 63 mm of rain if the cloud were to completely rain-out.
