Description
English: This is a man made huge duct created around all the sides of DAULATABAD FORT, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It is always filled with a water and in the ancient times so many crocodiles were there to protect the fort from enemy attacks. The said huge duct is called as "KHANDAK" which is generally used for protecting the fort from enemy attacks.
