Summary

Description
English: The Dragon Fire I was completed in 1998 using the whole upper portion of the French Thomson-Daimler Armements (TDA) 2R2M mortar system. The very large box on the Dragon Fire carriage is the hydraulic pump system and the whole weapon weighed in excess of 7,000 pounds. The gun worked well but the hydraulic system was strongly affected by temperature and the weapon took longer to aim when it was hot.
