Emma Gamboa Alvarado (n. 17 de octubre de 1901, San Ramón, Alajuela, Costa Rica -- f. 10 de diciembre de 1976, Heredia, Costa Rica), fue una educadora costarricense, reconocida por sus aportes a la pedagogía y la docencia, declarada Benemérita de la Patria por la Asamblea Legislativa de Costa Rica en 1980.
