Description

Brown "claw glass" beaker at Herne Bay Museum and Gallery. It is decorated with glass tears or claws, found before 1830 near Broomfield, Herne Bay. It is from the Canterbury Museum collection, and is in the Anglo Saxon cabinet.

Note: The label does not mention its date or cultural origin. This image is blurred due to being photographed through glass; a better photograph of the same artefact is needed.
