English: Gozd village. Gozd (in Slovenian language meaning: forrest) is a very picturesque village on a sunny terrace below Kriška gora (mountain) and above Križe village. Gozd has also a rich and sad history. During the World War II it was burnt by Nazis, as it supported resistance. In the village there are very convenient trailheads for the tours on Kriška gora and Tolsti vrh.
