South Korea

According to South Korean copyright law precedent related to threshold of originality, South Korean copyright law does not protect simple shapes, traditional patterns, and typefaces. Therefore, in South Korea, logos and trademarks consisting only of these elements are not copyrighted. However, as the Supreme Court of South Korea has ruled that the logo of Fox Racing is copyrighted, a logo and trademark at a level that can be recognized for originality is copyrighted. See COM:CRT/South Korea#Threshold of originality for more information.
