Description Herne Bay Museum, Herne Bay, Kent. 5th or 6th century Anglo-Saxon wheel-made pottery bowl, found on farmland near Marshside in the 1970s by farmer J.J. Harbour. A 5th century kiln was found and excavated on farmland at Marshside in the 70s.
