DescriptionJonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and Terry Gardiner.jpg
English: As part of the 100 Years of Alaska's Legislature program held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, a series of panel discussions occurred at the Elvey Building (home to the Geophysical Institute) on UAF's West Ridge. During one such discussion, Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and Terry Gardiner sat next to each other. Kreiss-Tomkins was 24 at the time, then the youngest incumbent member of the Alaska Legislature. Gardiner, first elected at 22, is the body's all-time youngest member. Their election at such young ages and the relationship they developed as a result was a topic of discussion that afternoon.
