Summary

Description
English: Coastal clouds hovering over Southern California around 1:48 PDT on June 12, 2008. Such clouds are involved in a weather pattern known as June gloom that occurs in late spring and early summer.
In foreground to the right is San Clemente, Orange County. The thick cloud mass in the centre is covering coastal parts of Camp Pendleton area. Camp Pendleton air strip is the white streak at the left margin in the middle. The coast emerging from the clouds and running into background is Oceanside, San Diego County.
