English: This huge Moro (Philippine Muslim) kampilan is thought to be late-19th to early-20th century. Its "eyes" is made of mother-of-pearl. The lamination (pattern welding) of the blade is clearly visible. A close-up view of the characteristic kampilan spikelet on the blade's tip is also shown. Overall length: 988 mm (39 1/2 inches); Blade length: 735 mm (29 1/2 inches), and 8 mm (5/16 inches) maximum blade thickness.
