English: Complete view of the Loggetta Veneziana, between Albornoz Palace (left) and the Nuti's Tower (right). It served (1466) for several years as a defense line for the city governors who resided in the Palace, then it lost its function and some of its original elements. Nowadays it depicts its current form of a continuous loggia (or loggetta), with battlements decorated with false windows, joined by arches crowned in the Gothic-Venetian style.
