English: Sculptor Lorado Taft stands in front of a parked automobile with his hands crossed in front of him. Taft has chosen one of the hilltops of Griffith Park to plant a museum of sculpture and architecture that will be completed at an estimated cost of $1,000,000. The only two who accompanied him were author Hamlin Garland and directing head of the Los Angeles Museum of Art Clarence B. Mitchell.
