Description
English: Part of the treetop of one of "Los Dragos Gemelos" (The twin dragon trees) of Breña Alta, La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain.

„Dragos Gemelos“ are the oldest dragon trees of la Palma, and reach a height of about 15 meters. Their treetops are entangled.

It is said, that long ago, two brothers loved the same girl. As she could not decide, the two brothers fought with each other. The fight was hard, and both died. The girl was very sad, and decided never to marry. She planted two dragon trees at the place of the fight, so that the memory of the two brothers will last for ever.
