English: Originally built on Crabb Island in 1873, the lighthouse was relocated to Lower Néguac in 1892 in response to the increased economic activity in the area during the 1890’s.
It was moved to the current location in 1929. The lighthouse was automated in 1957 and decommissioned in 2003.
