This building is locally-listed, see: Colchester Historic Buildings Forum - Old Heath Chapel, Old Heath Road (east) - (near Rowhedge Road). (Archived from the original on 22 April 2015.) In December 2014, a planning application was made to Colchester Council to demolish the building and rebuild a new church on the site, planning application number 146515. Planning permission for the demolition was refused.
