Deutsch: Die neuromanische Ortskapelle hl. Veit steht auf den Grundmauern einer ehemaligen Burgkapelle. 1487 wurde sie von Friedrich III. der Propstei Zwettl gestiftet. Das dreiseitig geschlossene Langhaus hat Rundbogenfenster und im Osten einen etwas niedrigeren rechteckigen Anbau. Westlich erhebt sich ein Turm mit Giebelspitzhelm. Über dem Portal befindet sich eine Gedenktafel für Georg von Schönerer. Der flachgedeckte Innenraum hat einen rundbogigen Triumphbogen und eine Apsiskonche. Die Sakristei ist kreuzgratgewölbt. Der barocke Altar hat ein Altarblatt hl. Veit aus dem Jahr 1890, das mit „Franz Maierhofer“ bezeichnet ist, Seitenfiguren der Hll. Josef und Antonius, die vermutlich in der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts angefertigt wurden sowie ein Gnadenstuhl-Bildnis am Oberbild. Zur weiteren Ausstattung zählen unter Anderem eine spätbarocke Kanzel und Grabsteine aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert. |
