English: F.C.Hibberd "Planet" light tractor as made from 1935 to c1957. This is number 3097 which dates it to c1944/1945. It is fitted with a Ford 4-cylinder industrial petrol engine. There was also a diesel engined option, and they could have solid tyres or pneumatic tyres. A flameproof version of the diesel version could be provided for use with explosives/munitions. Diesel engines included a twin cylinder Fowler engine until 1950, and a V-twin Turner diesel after that. This example was on display at the Kelsall Steam Rally in June 2022. Uses for these tractors (apart from the flameproof models mentioned above) included factory haulage, railway platform baggage truck haulage, and hauling the road trains at Butlins holiday camps.
