Description
English: Plaque on first Dunlop tyre factory. This plaque in Upper Stephen Street, Dublin, is at the site of the world's first pneumatic tyre factory, which started in 1889, making tyres in accordance with John Boyd Dunlop's patent of 7th December 1888. The building has been demolished - see 1586597 for photo of its site, and 432018 for plaque in Belfast on site where he made the invention.
