Description
Deutsch: Die römische Segmentbogenbrücke Pont-Saint-Martin (Sankt-Martin-Brücke) in der gleichnamigen Ortschaft im Aostatal (Italien). Die Einbogenkonstruktion gehört mit einer Spannweite von ca. 36 m und einer Gewölbedicke von nur rund einem Meter zu den größten und kühnsten Brückenbauten der Antike. Die Brücke dient seit mehr als zweitausend Jahren dem Verkehr.
