(-this is actually a young male bird. Males have the solid red bars, but have stripes when they are immature, so he is going through his change.) Photographed by Gary Beilby on 18 June 2006. A female en:Red-tailed Black Cockatoo displays its tail while browsing for nuts in a en:Jarrah tree.
