Canadian English: The Ensign of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Based on the original ensign of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), however, replacing the roundel of the RCAF with a roundel incorporating a golden eagle and maple leaf from the original badge of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. The original (using the Union Flag was approved by King George VI, King of Canada in 1941, and the current version was approved by The Queen in 1971.
