Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	As described in the accompanying text, the screenshot illustrates the first of several prominent 1990s depictions of a Roswell alien. The 1994 film adaption, utilizing a prop created by Steven Johnson, showed the Roswell alien as a stereotypical "gray", as previously depicted in film and described in Randel and Schmidt's 1991 Roswell book: with disproportionately large head and small mouth without hair, visible ears or nose. The visual similarity of the 1994 film's alien to the later 'alien' in the ostenisbily-historic Santelli 'alien autopsy' film was cited as evidence that the Santelli film was a hoax; Santelli later acknowledged his film had been fabricated.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Screenshot is a frame from a copyrighted film. Any other image from the film would similarly be under copyright.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The image, a single frame from a 91 minute film, is cropped and at a very low resolution. It is only used in one article, where is it necessary to distinguish it from and compare it to a known hoax in the 1995 Santelli film, as well as the 1996 satirization from The X-Files.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The image, a low resolution cropped frame, cannot compete with or replace the 91 minute film.
