Description
Čeština: Vztah mezi bodovou a kroužkovou difrakcí znázorněný pomocí plynulého přechodu mezi simulovaným difrakčním obrazem monokrystalu a polykrystalu MgO.

S výjimkou prvního snímku monokrystalu, kde je difrakční obrazec pro názornost orentován, jsou další difrakční obrazce vygenerovány náhodně s rovnoměrnou sférickou hustotou pravděpodobnosti a nejsou tedy zatíženy žádnou texturou. konečný snímek zachycuje 1000 zrn přispívajících do něj stejnou váhou.

Snímek byl vygenerován pomocí simulačního jádra programu CrysTBox.
English: Relation between spot and ring diffraction illustrated using a transition between simulated diffraction pattern of a single crystal and polycrystal of MgO.

Except of the first image which is intentionally oriented, other patterns are generated for a random crystal orientation with a uniform spherical probability density and therefore, should be texture-free. The final image reflects 1000 grains, each contributing equally.

The sequence was generated using a simulation engine of CrysTBox suite.
