Summary

Description

The Asmat of Papua rely on the abundant trees around them for elaborate wood carving tradition. USAID works with stakeholders to conserve the Mimika Mangroves in Asmat by integrating forest conservation with Low Emissions Development on other, already degraded land.

Orang Asmat di Papua mengandalkan pohon untuk mempertahankan tradisi mengukir kayu yang sangat indah. USAID bekerjasama dengan pemangku kepentingan setempat mengintegrasikan pelestarian hutan dan pembangunan rendah emisi di lahan kritis di Mimika.
