English: The Lake at Fingringhoe Wick nature reserve This was taken in 1988 from the viewing area near the visitor centre, looking to the far end of the lake. Fingringhoe Wick is an old gravel workings, and this lake is a result of the excavations. There is now extensive fringing vegetation. The reserve is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/fingringhoe_wick/ .
