Summary

Description Computer calculation of voltage gradients due to ground fault current in a small electrical substation ground grid. Isopotential lines that are closer together represent higher gradients that produce a hazard to passers-by if they were to touch the substation structure during a ground fault. This diagram is for illustration only and does not represent any actual substation grounding system.
