English: A truck distributing water to residents the seem not to have a (working) water supply line in their houses. Seems like a local politician sponsored the water as part of his election campaign. The timing is a bit odd since Indian monsoon takes place ongoing from June/July - so there should be no severe water shortage. Taken at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.
Deutsch: Ein Tanklaster verteilt Wasser an Anwohner die scheinbar keine (funtkionierende) Wasserleitung haben. Die Aktion wurde scheinbar von einem Lokalpolitiker im Wahlkampf gesponsert. Die Jahreszeit ist aber etweas untypisch für einen ersten Wassermangel - von Juni/Juli an herrscht Monsun in Indien. Aufgenommen in Kolhapur in Indien. |
