Nature of boudinaged layer

The boudinaged layer in this photo appear to be a quartz, possibly quartz-feldspar vein rather than a marble bed. The picture is high enough quality that you would expect to be able to see the cleavage in the calcite making up a marble bed if it was present. See discussion on the boudinage talk page.
