Dots and punctuation.

[edit]

If this is authentic or at least from the time era then shouldn't the sura be undotted since the dots and punctuation were created much later? --RichardVonHammond (talk) 22:35, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The dots started by Ali IbnAbiTalib and his Language helper AbuAlAsuad Alduaali , However certain words like path used like the Aramaic way (using heavy S letter " ص" instead of "س " (الصراط ) , not like the way we use it now ( السراط) . If the Calligraphy was authentic then it shall be coming from the early movement into the 28 letters Arabic. Syrian10

  • In the description we read a comment ( الكتابة في هذه الصورة غير صحيحة تحتوي على أخطاء في بعض أيات السورة ) .The correct comment shall be , If the Calligraphy is authentic , and old enough , then logically it shall be considered the correct reference and what we have now is the modified one.Syrian10
