This is a list of the largest metropolitan areas in the Caribbean, based on official population estimates or projections as of mid-2015-2024.

  1. ^ The National Works Agency of Jamaica defines the Kingston Metropolitan Region as comprising the parishes of Kingston, Saint Catherine and Saint Andrew.[5]
  2. ^ In 2015, Reynaldo Peguero, the director of the Santiago Development Council (Consejo de Desarrollo de Santiago, CDES), defined the metropolitan area of Santiago as comprising the municipalities of Santiago proper, Baitoa, Licey al Medio, Puñal, Tamboril and Villa González.[7]
