Narayana Group of Educational Institutions is one of Asia's largest educational conglomerates, with a vast network of schools, junior colleges, coaching centers, and professional institutions across India.[2] Founded by Ponguru Narayana, a prominent educationist turned politician currently serving as a cabinet minister in Andhra Pradesh, the group has played a significant role in shaping the educational landscape of India.[3]

Founding and growth

[edit]

The Narayana Group was established by Ponguru Narayana, an educationist in Andhra Pradesh, who later became a cabinet member in the Andhra Pradesh Government. His vision was to provide high-quality education that goes beyond the traditional curriculum, with a special emphasis on preparing students for competitive exams such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE).[4] [5]
