'''Sir Abdool Raman Osman SC''' is a prestigious college found in [[Phoenix, Mauritius]]. It was founded in 1996 and was named after Sir Abdool Raman Osman state college in memory of the first Governor General of Mauritius. More blocks were added and by end 1997, the school became a huge complex in a ground area of nearly {{convert|4|acre|m2}}. The school was provided with adequate infrastructure that any good school should have. Consequently it was converted into a Form six school in the year 2002. In january 2006, consequent to a policy decision of government, the school again started admitting pupils in Form 1. End of year 2007, the school became a National College and changed its name to Sir Abdool Raman Osman state College and it is considered a star college with other notable colleges in Mauritius. Saro has proved to be one of the best colleges in Mauritius. The performance of the students can be compared honourably and favourably with equally prestigious institutions of the country. |

SARO students are commonly known as Wolves . The students, teachers, staffs...etc is known as the SARO Family as they share the sense of democracy and the equality of status. The students share a good relationship with the teachers and rectors and share different ideas which later must be approved by the rector. He is appreciated by most of the students and is as a friend. The students have participated in number of rebellion in Maurituis which have push the country forward. |
