Page Name

[edit]

He has gone by Big E Langston for the longest out of all of his ring names, so the page name needs to be changed to Big E Langston. JobbersAreCool (talk) 22:45, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ettore EwenBig E Langston – Despite his powerlifting or football career, I think his WWE career is far more popular, so the common name to go by should be his ring name "Big E Langston", the character that debuted and participated on WWE's internationally streamed television programmes Raw, SmackDown and NXT. Google News shows "Big E Langston" -> 1,140 results, "Ettore Ewen" -> 1 result. Starship.paint (talk) 08:38, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LOL facepalm. Page was successfully moved by Jacob Koopa. I guess I should have tried that before requesting. That didn't work for Reigns, but still... Starship.paint (talk) 09:05, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This talk page still needs to be moved by an admin BTW. Maybe I did try moving the page myself, but failed because the talk page couldn't be moved. Starship.paint (talk) 09:11, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Big E Langston

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Big E Langston's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "WWE":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:04, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Order of Things

[edit]

First things first, I understand that the article is too detailed. So I have changed it and kept the new condensed version, but I have again rearranged the order. There is a reason for this and this is because the article should follow the chronological order of things, not the situational order. Now let me explain, chronological is basically he's on NXT, is NXT Champion and is appearing subsequently on the main roster. We should follow these things in the order they happen in. The situational order would be putting the history in depending on the situation, developmental history and main roster history. Wikipedia is not a book, it is an encyclopedia and this is a man's biography, it should be IN order. --Schmeater (talk) 01:18, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

NXT is a Developmental territory

[edit]

NXT is FCW which is Developmental territory. There's no need to split the section up. The main rost has its own section. --98.87.13.166 (talk) 01:42, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

Now that WWE has dropped "Langston" from his name, shouldn't we move this page to his present ring name? The same goes for Antonio Cesaro and Alexander Rusev.

As we all know, WWE is a big deal, and the ring names used in it by the talents should be used here in wikipediaa.

Ring names used in the indies doesn't matter in this case, does it? 59.178.178.170 (talk) 09:27, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Big E LangstonBig E (wrestler) – He (and WWE) hasn't used "Langston" in two years, and has achieved notable mainstream coverage (like in Rolling Stone) without it as part of the New Day. At this point continuing to include it would be like continuing to have Triple H at Hunter Hearst Helmsley. oknazevad (talk) 17:37, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
