Name

Thanks to Zanhe for reverting and cleaning up my edit about the meaning of the name. I am happy to be corrected.

My reference was actually the Chinese Wikipedia article (zh:梵净山#山名沿革). I checked translation with reference to an online Chinese dictionary [MDBG], which gives both definitions: "Nirvana (in Buddhist scripture) / Lord Brahma (the Hindu Creator)". Similar translation is given by [Zhongwen Pop Up Dictionary].

I also note that the whole section (zh:梵净山#山名沿革) has no references at all :)

@Mikhailfranco: Thanks for your edits, but I'm afraid mdbg's translation is incorrect. The Chinese term for Nirvana is Niepan/涅槃. Fantian (or Fanmo) is Brahma, a Buddhist deity that originated from Hinduism. See this. -Zanhe (talk) 23:11, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
