[edit]

I have undone a series of edits which, first of all, were malformed (did not use correct wiki syntax for citations) and disrupted the text; and secondly, linked to a low-quality blog. Nishadhembram was advised on his user talk page already, by another user, not to use such sources. Bertport (talk) 12:18, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I find it quite humiliating for a literary movement to carry such a notice before someone starts reading the article. I have worked on the Hungryalists when in India and find nothing wrong with it. The editors may like to get that scary notice removed. Celia Lin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.82.180.229 (talk) 07:13, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Content dispute

[edit]

It appears that someone has completely changed the text and distorted the page with a motive to defame the movement which is quite obvious in literary circles. Wikipedia authorities should revert back to the texts which existed in 2006-07. Even the links have been changed. Hi. If you want help in arbitrating in what appears to be a content dispute, it might be worth asking at one of the relevant Projects, for example Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics or Wikipedia talk:Notice board for Bangladesh-related topics. Hopefully that might get people who know something about the topic involved. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:51, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thin content

[edit]

The only sentence, that describes, what the Hungry Generation stood for is "This movement is characterized by expression of closeness to nature and sometimes by tenets of Gandhianism and Proudhonianism". Otherwise there are references to other poets and philosophers, mostly western. Is that all there is to say about their ideas? And according to the article the Hungries don't seem to have had a considerable impact on society. -- bapon (talk) 08:12, 08 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of works

[edit]

I've removed the long list of periodical articles and dissertations from the article. If its a list of everything anyone has ever done, its completely inappropriate for Wikipedia. Sionk (talk) 23:23, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
