Histmerge?

[edit]

{{admin help}} This page was cut-and-paste moved from Passenger drones, which now redirects here. Could an admin merge the page histories for proper attribution? Thanks, ansh666 19:49, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Ansh666: Please goto WP:REPAIR, the guys there are experts. Fixing cut and paste is not for the average admin - it's a real tricky thing to do. Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:23, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Ronhjones: Thanks for the directions. Though, Template:Admin help explicitly lists history merging as an example of when to use the template; maybe that should be removed then? ansh666 00:28, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So it does. Maybe a need for an edit. Technically we can all do them, practically it's best left to Anthony! Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:47, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Ansh666 and Ronhjones: there is a template for this purpose, {{histmerge}} to be placed on the article, so that you don't need to spam WP:REPAIR every time. 103.6.159.65 (talk) 10:47, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Err yes, that is exactly what WP:REPAIR says, and what I did... ansh666 17:16, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
